About Me

Hi Everyone, thank you for checking out my site, WIFiNFO.com.About Me, Lemont @ WIFiNFO

My name is Lemont and here is a little bit of info about me and why I created this site about WiFi technology.  I have been working in the telecom industry for over 25 years…

I started my career (way back) at the beginning of 1993, as a 31D, Mobile Subscriber Equipment Transmissions Systems Operator in the United States Army. I was fortunate enough to spend four years in the US Army and that is where I not only started learning my trade but also met some truly amazing people. The Army taught me a lot about myself and I am very proud to have served.

Since then, I have continued to work in the telecommunications field. I have traveled all over the United States working on everything from Fiber Optics to Line of Sight and Omni-directional antenna links and even DAS/Distributed Antenna Systems for large venues like major league stadiums. Throughout all of my travels, I have always been asked the same type of question by many different people…

How does WiFi actually work?

Lol, well the answer was way too detailed to adequately explain on the spot, so I decided it was about time to start sharing some of what I have learned.

I truly hope that my site will help you understand a little more about WiFi and how you can get the most out of it. I will be updating the posts on this site regularly so if you don’t find the answer that you are looking for check back soon.

Or, if you like, you can always email me at lemont@wifinfo.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks again, have a great day.
